We sadly lost our westie Bertie nearly 2weeks ago, his health started to deteriorate quickly so we made the decision that we wanted the best possible place to take him, somewhere special because that’s what he meant to us. 

We can’t thank everyone enough at Eternal Paws, for the way they made us feel during this very sad time, they were respectful, supportive and talked us through each stage of the process.

They put our mind at rest knowing that Bertie was at peace, and would be well looked after. We picked Bertie up the following day, and the special touches when we got him home was beautiful.

We will be forever grateful to Eternal Paws for the incredibly gentle and compassionate way they helped our family say goodbye to our beloved dog.

After 14 years as part of our family, making the decision to let our dog go was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. We were heartbroken and, with two young children, we wanted his final moments to be peaceful, safe and full of love.

From our first contact with Eternal Paws, we felt completely supported. Jayne & Anita explained everything so clearly and patiently, answered all of our questions and, most importantly, allowed us to say goodbye in our own time and in our own home.

When Anita arrived at our home she immediately was able to sense our need for support and care in this difficult moment as a family. There was no rushing and no sense of this being a clinical procedure, which was absolutely what we wanted and needed. She gave our dog a gentle sedative and stayed with us, explaining what was happening and giving us the space to be with him. Our dog was able to be at home, surrounded by the people who loved him, and he passed peacefully and with dignity. She was kind and patient when we needed it, allowing us to move out in to our garden for the final moments of his life.

What really meant so much to us was the way Anita included our children who are aged 6 and 9, they both felt safe with her, and she helped make what could have been a frightening experience feel gentle and secure. We hope that their first experience of losing someone they love will be held within that sense of safety and compassion.

Anita then took our dog into her care, and knowing that he was being treated with the same dignity and respect after his death brought us enormous comfort. The whole process, including his individual cremation and collecting his ashes, was handled with such care by both Anita and Jayne, and we are forever grateful for this, it has helped the beginning of our healing journey a lot (especially for our children)

Losing our dog has left an enormous hole in our family, and no one could make that pain disappear. But Eternal Paws helped us give him the goodbye he deserved.

Thank you to Anita and Jayne for the kindness, compassion, patience and grace you showed all of us during one of the most vulnerable moments our family has ever experienced.

We will always be grateful.

Anita was amazing. She helped our beloved cat to pass delicately and peacefully at home in the sunshine, in the garden he loved, in my lap. Her energy and voice were so calming. She seamlessly blended questions with guidance. We felt held and we are so thankful for her presence. Such a deeply painful moment, somehow also became beautiful. We chose to keep our furry friend overnight, then took him to the crematorium in the morning. In a beautiful countryside location, the crystal room where we said our goodbyes was serene and embracing. We knew we were in the safest and most compassionate hands. We had to put Nikki, our beloved dog of 14 years, into a forever asleep one year ago. Anita came to our home and helped Nikki pass peacefully and comforted our devastated family. It was the best send off for our girl and Anita could not have been more caring and compassionate. The care and gentleness she had for Nikki was more than we could ever ask for. 

We then picked up her ashes a few days later from a gorgeous place that overlooked a field. I know Nikki would have loved her time there until it was time to be back home with us. 

I am writing another review a year on after being so touched that they reached out to us today, a year after our Nikki went into her forever sleep.

What a wonderful team. Our elderly cat hated travelling in cars / to the vet, so it was a huge relief to find Eternal Paws. He was put to sleep by Anita at home with all of us holding and cuddling him. We were so grateful to be able to give him the end he deserved and he passed gently away on his favourite heated blanket, feeling safe, loved and comfortable. Jayne was amazing in helping to arrange it and Mel was wonderful when we went to pick up his ashes after cremation (which was also handled extremely well by Eternal Paws). We changed our mind about scattering ashes and decided to get a sleeping cat urn instead, again, nothing was too much trouble for the team. We also got the most lovely set of momentoes. Everything was just done so thoughtfully and professionally.

I would recommend Eternal Paws to anyone and cannot thank them enough. They are upfront with their prices on the website which I liked, and it was worth every penny. I would also mention that the care, consideration and respect shown to our pet and being able to be there at the end (in a lovely supported way) really helped our young son to deal with his first big loss. The most beautiful farewell ...
I am so glad I found Eternal Paws, I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful farewell for my gorgeous little girl,  Coco Chanel.  The thought of leaving her little body at the vets for cremation was unbearable, but bringing her to the Crystal room,  overlooked all night by the wooden guardian angel outside, made a very, very difficult time, so peaceful.  I cannot thank Anita enough for her compassionate and caring words, and for looking after Coco right up until I collected her ashes the next day. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our gorgeous boy outve pain and we knew we didn’t want him left on a cold slab at the vets he was worth more than that. 
We were introduced to Eternal Paws through our vet and we’re so grateful for all they did for our boy. In what was the worse moment of our lives, Anita came to our home and was so calming, compassionate and empathetic towards us and our boy. 
She talked us through everything and made sure our boy was as comfortable as could be. 

All the extra little touches we also got with his own crystal, the nose and paw prints and the little keepsakes were so touching.

Also picking our boy up the following day felt so special with his own private room n felt like he had his own little service just for him. 
We couldn’t have asked for anything more and we thank all the staff for your lovely comments about our boy and for making such a difficult time that little bit easier for us.

We would highly recommend to anyone.

Raffy's peaceful passing.
My dog had always had hip & elbow dysplasia. Many operations to help fix his problems, but ultimately arthritis got the better of him and at 13 he succumbed and lost use of all his legs. We woke one morning and he couldn't stand. His legs had been giving way for the previous few months and the vet felt his spinal may have also degraded. I wanted a serene, peaceful environment for him to pass over. I found Eternal Paws online and it looked beautiful. What I can't express enough is the peacefulness of this beautiful place. But even more importantly the love, compassion, care and professionalism shown by Anita, Jayne & Mel. Raffy peacefully passed to spirit and went into his forever sleep in the most beautiful peaceful, serene space, the Angel garden. He loved to be outdoors, it felt fitting. It was beautiful, safe, quiet, just the sound of birdsong and peace. No noise, no one else there, no rush, we were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye to my beloved boy. I knew after having a cold, rushed experience 5 years earlier putting my cat to sleep at a local vet that I couldn't put my little boy spaniel through that. I searched everywhere wanting to find a more holistic, serene passing for him. The women at Eternal Paws just 'Get it'. They are all pet lovers, so understand how much our furry companions mean to us, that they are family members. What Anita has created at the final resting home is honestly a profound and beautiful end of life service. The only other places I have seen such respect shown to animals is in the temples of Tibet. I felt their warmth and compassion from beginning to end. It was faultless. Anita helped me through such a difficult moment with calm and grace, I needed that to help me through his transition. She spoke so kindly and with such compassion, wisdom and experience. These kind women made what was one of the hardest days of my life, a peaceful, calm, love filled space for Raffy to pass to spirit. It was so calm, peaceful and tranquil, he slipped away with absolutely no resistance, he was just so at peace in their beautiful garden and surroundings, surrounded by love. And that was all I wished for him. I can't recommend them enough. They are the gold standard of palliative and end of life pet care. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends. From the bottom of my heart, I will never forget how beautiful his passing was. Thank you to all at Eternal Paws for the kindness and compassion you gave to Raffy. I knew I had left him in safe hands to return to ash, after I had left. And I can say with certainty only his remains came back to me, every screw, plate and hip replacement piece of metal he had in his little legs. Which actually moved me, they were a part of him. We have lost our beautiful, gentle, funny boy Henry. We are devastated and completely heartbroken.
We took him to Eternal Paws to be cremated. We met Jane who took Henry and placed him in the crystal room where he lay with his own blanket. Lovely room, it was peaceful and calm.
We collected his ashes today and brought him home.

Letting our girl go
It is difficult to find words that would do justice to the way I personally feel about Anita, Michelle and Jayne. We have k own for a while that we were losing our beautiful girl Florence but when the time came to make the call, the intensity of our grief was overwhelming. Anita and the team carried us through it with love, compassion and a deep level of empathic understanding. When Anita arrived all of our hearts missed a beat as we knew the time had come to let our pup go. Anita held our hands through the whole process and allowed us time and space to gently let Florence go. My pup left this world knowing she was loved and passed over with the dignity she deserved.  The team at Eternal Paws looked after us from the moment we made the first call to bringing our girl back home. What amazing service with care and love
well what can I say... from the very first phone call to collecting Peggy's ashes the service we had from ALL the staff at Eternal Paws was superb. Jayne was the first person I spoke to and she treated me with utter empathy between my sobs. She gave me all the information I needed professionally. Peggy met Anita on Friday 3rd October and she treated our fur baby with such care and love as though she was her dog. Thank you Anita the lovely whispered words to Peggy as she went were beautiful.... Collected Peggy's ashes on Monday and was met by Mel. Saying goodbye
We knew our gorgeous little 17 year old bichon Millie was at the end of her beautiful life.  Anita came to our home to give Millie the gentle send off she deserved. Anita was so calm with Millie, sat on the floor with her beside her bed and connected. Millie was relaxed around Anita. Everything was explained to us and the process that would take place with our beautiful little girl. Anita has a calm presence and reassuring. Millie had her sedation and gently went to sleep before the final injection. Such a peaceful moment. Our hearts are broken and we'll always miss our little Millie so much but it helps to know at the end of her life when she was struggling so much that there are beautiful human beings like Anita who will care and make saying goodbye a peaceful experience.

Simply the best…
We sadly lost our beloved black lab, Bella on 27th July 2025.
Anita came to the house and the care and compassion she showed to Bella and our family was beyond amazing.
She talked us through every step, what might or might not happen and was gentle with our girl, and with us.
When we went to collect her ashes yesterday, not only was the casket beautifully presented, there was a personalised card, nose and paw prints and lovely messages.
We cannot recommend this team highly enough, we will never forget their kindness and dedication in the most emotional of circumstances

Care and Compassion
Anita cared for our beloved girl in the last months of her life and her care was without equal. 
When we knew it was time for our girl to return to spirit Anita came to our home and Myla had the loving and peaceful passing she deserved, she fell asleep for the last time in her own home on her favourite rug being held by us both. 
We are bereft but we knew it was time and Anita agreed, we will be forever grateful for the care and compassion she had for us all.

We lost our beloved Sadie at the weekend. We brought her to the crystal room at eternal paws to be put into her final sleep. Words cannot express the gratitude to Anita for her loving, gentle care. The feeling of calm, and love, was amazing. In a beautiful room, peacefully, doors wide open to the fresh air and garden, surrounded by love, Sadie slipped gently over the rainbow. Heartbreaking, yes. Hard  yes. But so beautiful. We left her in Anita's care and returned for her ashes. Thank you so much for helping us make this painful journey so calm and gentle. A beautiful peaceful goodbye.
I heard about Eternal paws via a friend and made contact, knowing it would soon be time to say goodbye to our dear girl Eliza. I didn’t want her ending to be at her regular veterinary surgery. I wanted it to be peaceful and at home. 
I spoke to Mel and Jayne a couple of times prior to arranging the day. They reassured and supported me.
When Anita arrived, Eliza warmed to her immediately. The process was explained clearly, Anita was very calming and it was a peaceful moment as she passed into a deep sleep. 
We collected her ashes to next day from the beautiful Crystal Room, which was wonderful environment.
Eliza was nearly 17 and we are so pleased we honoured her in this way. We hope she is running free now, after her ball and with our Cat.

Sadly our dog Sadie had to go to her last sleep. The care, compassion and love that Anita gave was beyond words. Surrounded by love, in beautiful peaceful surroundings,  Sadie very gently and quietly went to sleep. It is difficult too put into words how comforting it was. Over the rainbow
Sadly we had to say goodbye to my dog Sadie. I cannot express how grateful we are to Anita for her care and compassion. It was so beautiful,  loving and peaceful. Surrounded by quiet gardens, doors open to the fresh air, we felt totally at peace as Sadie slipped silently into her last sleep. Our gorgeous girl Nikki passed away this weekend and we couldn’t have asked for better people than Anita and Mel to help guide our family through such a difficult time.

Anita was so compassionate, lovely and respectful when Nikki was put into her forever sleep. We then picked her ashes up when the time was ready and the crematorium was gorgeous and Mel was so kind. I know she was safe and looked after. I am so glad our girl got the nicest and most dignified send off that we could have ever hoped for. She really deserved it.

Thank you all. You made a difficult time for our family that little bit easier and we are forever grateful.

Our beloved bulldog peggy passed away yesterday with the care and assistance of Anita. I have felt so passionate about the care and love given that I wanted to leave my review today. Peggy was part of our family for 9 and half years, we loved her like she loved us. I had spoke to Mel who was compassionate and supportive as I advised her Peggys decline in health. We wanted no more than her to pass away in the comfort of her own ‘couch’ (spoilt doggy). Anita came to our home and instantly felt at ease with her advice.in the comfort of our home we could also allow our emotions flow, as we loved our Peggy so much. We decided to keep peggy overnight and Anita asked us to choose a crystal to keep beside Peggy, next day we used the stretcher Anita lent us to transport our best friend.  We were immediately greeted by Mel, given a warm welcome with a hug and led to the chapel to rest Peggy surrounded by crystals and a statue of Jesus. A tranquil peaceful setting, which allowed us say goodbye.Peggys ashes was returned the same day, with Beautiful trinkets,poem and paw prints, and a heartfelt card, I could not recommend Eternal Paws enough thank you for caring for our family member as it will forever be our last memory, from Lisa, Mike Louis and Amelia x

As a Family we would like to thank Anita, Jayne & Mel and how greatful we are for taking care of our family companion Skye. Sadly, we recently had to have her put to sleep due to illness. From the moment i spoke to Anita on the phone we instantly knew Skye was going to be taken care of in a professional, loving, caring and compassionate way. Anita came to our home, she made the whole experience of having her put to sleep so peaceful and calm, making us feel more at ease knowing Skye was being taken to Eternal Paws to be prepared for Cremation and taken care of in there care. When we arrived to collect Skye's ashes 2 days later we was met by Mel who shown a huge amount of care and we was so touched to see how nice & peaceful the atmosphere in the room was where Skye was taken care of and treated with the upmost respect. Couldn't thank you enough. We highly recomend Eternal Paws for how professional and caring they are in such sad times and deserve 10 + ⭐️ for being a great all round caring team. I recently contacted Eternal Paws.  My elderly cat, nearly 21 declined.  Anita came out, when she came into my home, I immediately felt calm, she is amazing and my beloved passed very peacefully.  I went and viewed her in the crystal room, it was such a peaceful place overlooked by an angel.  I collected her today, such compassion from Mel.  Anita, Jayne and Mel are truly angels heaven sent. On 15th March 2025 Our lovely old cat Salem (21) started to decline rapidly and our vet was unable to come to the house and recommend Eternal Paws to us.
We contacted Eternal Paws and Anita responded very quickly and agreed to attend to Salem at home,  which is what we really wanted. This was a Saturday and short notice.
Anita was absolutely outstanding,caring and professional and made us all feel at ease.
We knew that we were getting Salem the very best care from the initial care through to picking her ashes up and bringing her home on the Monday.
The whole setup is beautifully thought out and such a peaceful experience.
Thank you so much Eternal Paws and especially Anita for your amazing care.
We can't recommend the Eternal Paws experience any higher but if there was  5* plus, they have it.

My best friend and protector.Ben a Jack Russel had to be put to sleep on the 16 1 2021. We brought him to Eternal paws where he was treated with love and dignity. He was laid in the crystal room overlooked by the large angel sculpture.  We were given all the time we needed to say goodbye, there was no rush to leave. I felt I had left him in safe loving care. After our Beagle Shay passed away, I contacted Eternal Paws about their services. From the first call they showed great empathy and compassion. This continued when we visited the same day to drop off Shay’s body. We were given our time slot which gave us complete privacy while we said goodbye. The turnaround was very quick too which gave us great peace of mind and his ashes were available to collect the following day so we could bring him home. Anita, and her team provided the most exceptional service I have ever received. I was going through such a stressful time after my dog Monty had his cancer diagnosis and he quickly declined which left me feeling so anxious about the situation and unknown. Anita came out to our home at short notice and as soon as she came through our door we all had such a sense of relief. From that day up until collecting the ashes, so much care and compassion was given, and the small touches made all the difference. Pepper
Thank you to Anita, Mel & Jayne, I cannot thank you enough for what you do and how compassionate you are.
Our world has been torn apart yet again with the loss of our beautiful girl Pepper, she was an old girl but very young at heart and even though she did have some health issues recently we were not ready for the rapid decline in her health. Unfortunately we didn't have the luxury of time and she needed to be put to sleep by our vet. Anita looked after our beautiful Holly only about 20 months ago and was so lovely to us and her and previously to our beautiful Amber almost 5 years ago.
Thank you Jayne for being so lovely and for looking after Pepper.
Thank you all for being angels and for your compassion for us and our beautiful girls.
We will see you again because we've got the same heartache to face two more times and I couldn't imagine facing that without your kindness.
You really are beautiful people.

Anita is amazing, she looked after daisy when she passed away in lockdown. We lost our baby boy and the first person I thought of was Anita. She is one of the most caring people I have ever met as well as professional. She treats the animals as if they were her own. She is the only person I trusted when we needed the cremation as I know how much love would have been provided at the point in which the cremation would have taken place. We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved cat, Man Man, and Eternal Paws made the experience as comforting and heartfelt as it could possibly be during such a difficult time.

Jayne was absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. Her care and compassion truly stood out, and her quick responses to our questions and concerns made everything so much easier to handle. Everything just done perfectly within 24hrs.

One of the most touching aspects of their service was the Crystal Room. We were able to have a private session to say our final goodbyes to Man Man, which gave us a sense of peace and closure during this emotional moment.

The keepsakes they provided were equally beautiful and meaningful. The paw print, nose print, and the ashes presented in a stunning cat-shaped coffin were perfect tributes. Holding the coffin felt as though we were holding Man Man one last time, which brought us so much comfort.

We’re also grateful for the token of appreciation they shared, showing how much they value every pet and family they serve.

What can we say, Anita, Jayne and Mel are the best and most compassionate people to have in your sad time of need.  No pressure at all only a willingness to help you and your pet through what is the hardest part of being a pet owner.  Anita made suggestions to help extend Obi’s time with the family for a little bit longer, but sadly the time came for him to cross that Rainbow Bridge. Unfortunately our 12 year old Dog Slinky became unwell, The time had come were we had to make the decision for him to be pts 🙏. From the first contact with eternal paws there were so caring and considerate, not knowing where they where located at first detailed information was sent via text to direct us there. The empathy that the team shown to make our hard day easier was outstanding, they have a beautiful setting which is also 2nd to none and very comforting, well done to the team you have created something really special there. You should be proud of yourselves👏 👏👏.

Sadly our 15 year old cat was ready to go to his final resting place. Eternal paws was recommended to us by a friend! From the first call to picking up his ashes I can only say Thank you! You made what was such a hard and emotional time easier with your compassion, care and empathy.

When Anita came on the day she was so caring and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our gorgeous boy. I lost my boy unexpectedly and was really struggling with the reality and wanting to keep a piece of him with me, so decided to look for a crematorium. I am so grateful for eternal paws, their services were exactly what I needed to say goodbye to my boy and exactly what my boy deserved. We got a black cat urn, perfect for Reggie. The service also included a phial of his fur, nose and paw prints, seeds to sew in his honour, a crystal that went with him on his journey, a hand written note and some beautiful keepsakes that I will cherish forever. Simply Amazing !!
I can’t begin to describe how wonderful the staff are at Eternal Paws. Sadly this week we lost our beloved Chase. Anita and the team were truly amazing with the whole process, utterly professional from start to finish whilst remaining human and showing just how much they care. At a time that we were at our lowest, Anita, Mel and the team showed us nothing but respect and support. Some of the nicest people anybody will ever meet. Whilst this experience was traumatic, there is nowhere else I would have taken Chase to see out his final hours. With expansive grounds and special rooms to care for our Chase in his final moments, I can’t thank the team enough for the compassion and respect that they showed us throughout. Having a beloved pet euthanised is one of the hardest choices you will ever have to make.
Anita turned up on time and brought with her an aura of peace and tranquility. I didn't think that somebody could be personal amd professional at the same time, at a time of overwhelming sadness she helped provide calm.
Kenneth was 11.5 years old and had given up after a hard fight with cancer, we chose at home euthanasia as we don't think it's right to say our final goodbyes in a vet surgery a place that no animal really likes to be, I believe this should be done with loved ones in a space the pet is comfortable in.
Kenneth passed peacefully and although very sad it was very comforting a lot of this was due to the service provided by Anita.

The procedure was done on a Friday and we picked up his ashes on Monday.

The location of eternal paws is beautiful the whole set up is very peaceful and spiritual I'm not really a believer of that kind of stuff but my partner went from sadness to being at ease and calm the moment we walked into the room were Kenneth was kept.

We were met by a lovely lady  I'm very sorry I forgot her name, she hugged my partner and discussed Kenneth with a genuine interest in his life. The lady was another great part of the 5 star service we were provided with from start to finish and very befitting of the way we treated our beloved Kenneth his entire life.

Thanks to all the team at eternal paws and I will dread the experience far less in the future knowing that I can say goodbye with eternal paws providing their excellent service.

I would even take my dog to their place for the procedure which I never thought I would do its perfect.
